OUR STORY

Saigon Star opened its doors in 1987, and over the course of 20 years has established itself as one of Toronto's finest restaurants. An establishment humbly founded to cater to a growing Vietnamese population, our fusion inspired dishes now draw guests from all over the world. By using fresh ingredients and spices imported directly from Southeast Asia to produce authentic flavors, we have been able to perfectly combine the best of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.  Our mission is to provide customers with a culinary experience like none other- an experience that mimics the authenticity of dining in Southeast Asia. 

OUR SPECIALTIES

Saigon Star is recognized equally for its traditional Vietnamese dishes, as well as its Vietnamese inspired seafood items such as crab, and lobster. In addition, many dishes showcase French cooking styles and flavors - from items like the Grilled Rack of Lamb to our signature Charbroiled Oysters with a garlic butter sauce, these items fully exhibit the intersection of Vietnamese and French cooking.

One of the largest and most popular sections on our menu are the seafood offerings. From West-Coast Dungeness Crabs to lobster, jumbo prawns and oysters, we specialize in all things seafood. By working with only the freshest seafood delivered daily, we deliver the most authentic flavors and aroma of Vietnamese cooking.
